*WARNING* don’t not do business with this joker. A pretend Christian who try’s to rope potential customers with a fake do good speech about helping motorists. A true scam artist! Had the engine replaced in July. “Bill” said before we opted to use his service that there was a 12 month warranty with the used engine. An engine seal blew on the car and “Bill” first explained that used engines don’t come with any warranty. He then refused to give us the name of where the used engine came from. Lastly after this bill said there wouldn’t be a warranty because the oil wasn’t changed and the oil level was a quart low when the vehicle was brought back to him. When It was explained to bill that there was no oil in the engine because a seal blew he hung up and now refuses to return phone calls. – lawsuit pending
Dan I am so sorry you are such a bitter person. Your engine was used and they come with a 6 month warranty from us. However the warranty is on the engine itself and requires regular maintenance. With 8000 miles on the engine since install we see no oil change has been done. Additionally the rear main seal is leaking due to moisture in the engine from the PCV valve. Regular oil changes would have prevented this problem. You were very low on oil and if you knew you were leaking oil then I wonder why you didn’t check oil prior to driving into the shop. We spoke and I tried to tell you all this but you chose to yell and try and badmouth my company on social media. I am a Christian business but that doesn’t mean we are here to run a charity for people who neglect to do the required maintenance on their vehicles. For every person that gets bad news and decides it is not their fault we help 10 others who realize we are doing the right thing.

I took my 2003 GMC Yukon in to get safety and emissions done, so I can renew my plates. I waited for a hour and a half on my lunch, for them to tell me I passed emissions but failed my safety because: 1. My front left ball joint was bad, 2. front left tie-rod had a issue, and 3. My 3rd brake like was allegedly out. I proceed to inform them that: “I just completely replaced the whole front left wheel hub assembly, control arms (upper/lower), bushings, bearings and tie-rod ends, so I don’t see how those could be an issue”, as I just bought and put on a whole new front suspension kit last summer. After sliding me a bill for hundreds of dollars and asking me if I would like them to take care of it, I paid and left. That got me thinking when I finally made it back to work, to double check my third brake light. I had a co-worker come out and we both swapped and checked the 3rd brake light, and surprisingly enough, it works just fine!!! I then proceed to call them to see why it would fail a simple brake light test, I am told: It could be because of a loose wire, and that those things happen all the time, to bring it back and they will take the brake light off the list. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my car back to “Master’s Touch Automobile”!!! I am trying to get my plates renewed, then failed for something that works just fine. Now I have to go somewhere else, and pay more money, to get the documentation I need, to renew my plates.
Chris we have a set of guidelines the state requires to pass the safety inspection. Simply put your vehicle didn’t meet those guidelines. It is unsafe and if you had those repairs done as you state we would have seen new parts and it would’ve passed. There were not new parts and the vehicle needs those repairs. We can and offered to show you what was wrong and you refused. Sorry but if that vehicle will pass by any other shop in current condition they deserve to lose the license to inspect for the state of Missouri. We have never failed a car for something that didn’t exist. We take it very seriously to be the most honest repair shop around. We have never and will never be dishonest as it is not the way we operate. And quite frankly we would be doing you a disservice to pass the vehicle as well as jeopardize our license to do inspections for Missouri. If you feel it necessary I encourage you to contact Troop C of the Missouri Highway Patrol and let them examine the vehicle to validate what we found. We will be happy to pass the vehicle once repairs are made at no cost to you.

Bill is always so friendly. Goes above and beyond. His team is unmatched. Of course you can’t pass us the shop dogs. I’ve had brakes serviced here. Oil changes. Inspections. Windshield. Catalytic converter. This is typically my go to spot.
Thanks Tyler! Always a pleasure.

Masters touch has gone out of their way multiple times to help me save money on repairs. My car is older, and needs work fairly often. I started using them when I was comparing quotes for an outer tie rod replacement in 2019 ( masters touch won!). Bill and the team have always been very honest and helpful. They’re good genuine people and capable. Added bonus: there are really cute dogs in the lobby.
Thanks Jessica! Red and Sadie are always glad you are there too.
